Animal hormones are a class of information transfer substances secreted by secretory cells or endocrine glands in humans and higher animals. Animal hormones play a very important physiological function in the growth, sexual development, nutrient metabolism, cellular respiration, physiological metabolism and other physiological functions of animals. The hormones in human and higher animals include the following four categories: steroid hormones, such as sex hormones; peptide and protein hormones, such as various pituitary hormones; amino acid derivatives, such as thyroid hormones; and fatty acid derivatives, such as prostate hormones. The regulatory effects they produce are very significant, and hormone regulation is essential for basic life activities such as metabolism, growth and development, and reproduction. Based on the LC-MS/MS technology platform, Creative Proteomics enables quantitative and qualitative analysis of a wide range of animal hormones.

Plasma/serum ≥200 µL. Tissues ≥200 mg. Cell ≥1×107.
The control group and experimental group need to be set before sampling. Each group is recommended to have 6 and more biological replicates.
Sampling needs to be done quickly to minimize the sample collection time. The sampling time, site, and processing conditions should be consistent as much as possible, otherwise the credibility of the experimental results may be affected.
To avoid repeated freezing and thawing affecting sample quality, it is recommended that samples be preserved in aliquots immediately after collection.
Samples should be frozen in liquid nitrogen, dry ice or -80 degrees Celsius immediately after sampling.
