Creative Proteomics is seeking a talented and motivated scientist to direct the Metabolomics Platform.
The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with scientists on a range of academic and industrial projects employing targeted metabolomics, untargeted metabolomics and lipidomics, as well as introducing cutting edge analytical and mass-spec techniques to solve customers’ problems.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform LC-MS workflow for metabolomics/lipidomics including sample preparation, method development and execution, method validation, data acquisition and analysis, and report writing;
• Operate and maintain of mass spectrum system including but not limited to AB SCIEX QTRAP 6500, Thermo Q Exactive Plus, QQQ
• Demonstrate competency in troubleshooting, optimization and implementation of challenging and innovative LC-MS/MS assays;
• Adhere to established Standard Operating Procedures and contribute to validation protocols, reports and bioanalytical reports.
• Understanding of metabolomics literature and apply theoretical framework to solving problems
Requirements:
• PhD, MSc or BSc in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry or similar Life Science
• Significant experience in targeted metabolomics LC-MS method development, method validation and troubleshooting;
• Familiarity with metabolomics platforms including but not limited to AB QTRAP 6500, THERMO QE Plus and QQQ
• Familiarity of LC-MS assay validation guidelines and GLP regulations;
• Familiarity with metabolite identification and profiling studies;
• Hands-on experience in LC/MS small molecule applications, including method development, quantification, characterization, and structure elucidation.
• Hands-on experience in various biological sample preparation technique such as PP, LLE, and SPE.
• Hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills on LC separation techniques (i.e. RP, HILIC) and Mass Spec
• Proficiency with mass spectrometry software as well as spreadsheet, word processing, and graphical computer programs;

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales manager to ensure the achievement of sales tasks and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through high-quality services.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Project planning and oversight. Coordinate and develop program goals, strategic plans, and project quotations.
• Conduct project research and build, maintain and execute project plans to meet customer needs and ensure sales success.
• Meet or exceed customer expectations and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments affecting target markets.
• Ensure clear, concise, and accurate communication of products/services information during sales presentations as needed.
Qualifications:
• MSc in analytical chemistry, environmental chemistry, biochemistry or a related field.
• Hands-on experience operating LC-MS and GC-MS instruments.
• Experience in oversight or participation in a project of proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics and glycomics is a plus.
• Basic programming skills relevant to proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics and glycomics data analysis is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across a multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated and independent thinker, with aptitude to work autonomously.
• Be a team player, develop and maintain excellent working relations within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Carry out routine lab duties including sample QC, sample detection, and data analysis.
• Design and execute biochemical, biophysical, and genetic experiments.
• Responsible for troubleshooting and correcting scientific issues/problems.
• Execution of proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics or other experiments.
• Establishment of novel biochemical assays.
• Execution of mechanistic experiments.
• Collaborate with internal/external proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics or other facilities and scientists.
• Support sales efforts including pre-sales technical presentations and discussion on experimental design to improve our win rate in complex sales situations.
Qualifications:
• MSc in biochemistry, cell biology, analytical chemistry or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience in an academic or pharmaceutical industry lab.
• Hands-on experience operating LC-MS and GC-MS instruments.
• Ability to rapidly learn, develop, optimize, validate, and execute novel assays.
• Strong experience analyzing large scale proteomics, metabolomics or glycomics data using commercial and open source software tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across a multidisciplinary team.
