Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is an intermediate in the remedial synthesis pathway of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+) in mammals. By regulating the level of NMN in organisms, it has better therapeutic and reparative effects on cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, neurodegenerative diseases and degenerative diseases of aging. In addition, NMN can also play a role in protecting and repairing pancreatic islet function, increasing insulin secretion and preventing metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity by participating in and regulating the endocrine of the organism. Sample Requirements

  • Plant tissue > 200 mg fresh weight, freeze-dried sample > 0.5 g
  • Animal tissue / feces related samples > 200 mg / sample
  • Cells or bacteria > 107, supernatant > 2 ml
  • Amniotic fluid and other homogeneous liquid samples > 200 µl.

In order to ensure the accuracy of the samples and reduce systematic errors during sampling, it is necessary to select more than 3 materials with the same condition for each sample, and prepare more than 6 biological replicates.

Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of samples at room temperature, and store it at -80°C.
