Ginsenoside Analysis Service

Online Inquiry

Ginseng is the dried root of araliaceae panax ginseng C.A.Mey, which is a valuable traditional Chinese medicine. The chemical composition of ginseng includes ginsenoside, sugars, amino acids, vitamins, proteins, polypeptides, organic acids, fat-soluble components and trace elements. Ginsenoside is the most important physiological active substances in the ginseng, with the function of regulating the central nervous system, improving cardiovascular and hematopoietic system, regulating the endocrine system and enhancing immunity. More than 50 kinds of monomer saponins have been found in ginseng and the analysis of ginsenoside has always been an active service project of Creative Proteomics. The different ginsenosides have their unique physiological functions, and the content of ginsenoside is an important index to evaluate the quality of ginseng and its products. Creative Proteomics provides the simple, rapid, accurate, affordable and highly automated analytical method and equipment to analyse ginsenosides. High performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) can solve some of the problems associated with ginsenoside analysis. Improved extraction and purification steps can also increase the sensitivity of the analytical method.
