Oleuropein Analysis Service

Online Inquiry

Oleuropein (OLE) is a non-toxic polyphenolic iridoid glycoside compound, which has anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, detoxification, hypoglycemic, blood pressure lowering, hypolipidemic, organ protection and other pharmacological effects.

High doses of OLE have been shown to reduce levels of oxidative stress markers, such as 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG) and malondialdehyde (MDA), while increasing total antioxidant levels (TAS). OLE can also demonstrate antitumor effects by synergizing with other antitumor agents or physical and chemical methods.

OLE can inhibit gluconeogenesis to lower glucose and improve insulin resistance. It is also an allergenic proliferator-activated receptor (PPAR) alpha agonist that upregulates multiple PPAR alpha target genes in the liver, an effect associated with lowering serum triglyceride (TG) and cholesterol (TC) levels.

OLE can also be used for organ protection. oLE protects the heart by inhibiting MAPK and NF-κB-mediated prevention of myocarditis development. It is also able to counteract unhealthy diet-related hepatic steatosis by targeting autophagy through adenylate-activated protein kinase (AMPK)-dependent activation of the autophagic process by ULK 1 phosphorylation.

To facilitate the study of oleuropein's function and mechanism of action and to accelerate the development of related products, drug discovery and clinical applications, Creative Proteomics can provide you with oleuropein qualitative and quantitative analysis services. Our nano UHPLC-ESI-MS/MS assay platform provides you with high quality reports and accurate analytical results.
